about

Recorded throughout the end of 2012 and throughout 2013. Mr Amitron_7 would rise at 6am and after morning chores be in the studio at 9am. This album represented a story of 2 scientists and their experiments in telepathy upon the human brain and communication with an unknown force. It was released for free on the mighty enough records netlabel but The Blackcurrant Moon Foundation consider Mr Amitron_7 was over reaching himself in regard to the scope of the project so here we offer the abridged version in its pure undiluted form so probably more lo-fi than the enough records release. Some of the original tracks deemed unworthy have been removed and some tracks edited into a shorter form. The running order may also differ from the original and also some titles changed.

A description of each track gives a rough outline of the story on which the recording was based and is designed for the listener to fill in the gaps and create their own story within that framework as Mr Amitron_7 did whilst making it. You may find like he the story changes or becomes more detailed as you listen and becomes your own.

This cannot be considered a remaster but more a re-imagining and a trimming down.

released January 12, 2013

Amitron_7 Plays Guitar, Bass,Bongos,Drums,Melodica,Synth,Pots and Pans and everything else in between. The album contains a mixture of programmed beats and breaks with some live drumming on at least 2 or 3 tracks mutilated beyond recognition as The Blackcurrant Moon Foundation recognise Mr Amitron_7 cannot play the drums to a suitable standard if indeed he can at all. You may also here lots of samples in among the dins.

Artwork by the Talented Hélder Costa. Original Release on Enough Records and I cannot thank Filipe 'enough' for all hi support.
